Seeking a Full-Time Associate Level Attorney with an Advanced Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering in Chicago, Illinois Our client in Chicago, Illinois has an immediate need for a Full-Time Associate Level Attorney with an Advanced Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. This is a full-time permanent need. This is an Intellectual Property Law firm with approximately 100 members on staff. This firm has offices in Chicago and Washington State. This firm provides comprehensive legal services to obtain and enforce clients' intellectual property rights, from navigating patent office procedures to litigating complex infringement actions. They prosecute patent and trademark applications in both the U.S. and abroad, handle intellectual property litigation matters in trial and appellate courts across the country, and counsel clients nationwide and worldwide on the enforcement and defense of their intellectual property rights. Our client is seeking someone with a Master’s or PhD in Engineering in any of the following disciplines: Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Candidates should have strong experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, conducting legal research, and providing technological advice in support of validity, infringement and patentability analyses, patent application preparation and prosecution, and litigation matters in their related Engineering discipline. Our client will accept candidate with a BS in Engineering with related work experience. Pay Rate: $160,000 (for first year Associates) Education: MS or PhD Engineering is a plus. Seeking a Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Cost Accountant with Packaging experience for our client in Chicago, Illinois. Our client in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Cost Accountant with Packaging experience. Qualified candidates must have experience in packaging, specifically in folding cartons. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with an industry leader in packaging. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for production cost and expense reporting inventory control, maintenance and analysis of product costs, operation and variance reporting · Assist with capita projects, including: review of requests and preparing financial justifications · Monitor Plant profitability. Provide support for project tracking and costing for customer projects on as required. · Analyze manufacturing efficiencies, spending variances and product cost and inventory trends · Recognize and highlight operational opportunities and initiating projects that provide solutions · Maintain product master information, product structure, routing and all system data that builds product cost · Support plant reducing costs with identification of waste and implementation of cost savings opportunities · Provide estimating analysis on new business and new requisitions for quotes. · Board ordering THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE NEED REQUIREMENTS · Experience with job/order cost system and /or standard cost system experience preferred. · Ability to communication effectively both written and verbal. · Ability to utilize various computer software packages (MS Word, Excel, ASI, and Crystal) · BS degree with 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience or industry specific of Packaging Manufacturing. · Must have strong knowledge of: cost accounting, inventory management, product cost, profitability analysis. · Must be able to manage multi tasks and prioritize deliverables · Must be detail oriented and responsive to management requests · Ability to be hands on-attitude by helping plant and management personnel understands how to be more efficient and productive in their work.
